Clubhouse

Our clubhouse is ideally situated on Sunrise beach in Muizenburg and overlooks the picturesque False Bay.

The two story building is used by False Bay Surf Lifesaving Club and serves as a lifeguard duty station. The bottom level is used by the nippers of the club and houses the bathrooms and changing rooms, while the upstairs is primarily used by senior members. There is a committee room available for small meetings, a bar, pool room with pool table and table tennis table and a large open floor that is often used for functions and larger meetings.

We also have a boat shed on the lower level where are the equipment, boards, skis and the IRB are kept. Above the boat shed is where the duty room is located, an ideal space with lockers for the lifeguards who are on duty, as well as the tower room. The tower room is an incredibly important part of the club, as it serves as the position from where most duties are carried out, with the perfect view of the beach.
