SuperSport broadcasts a special feature on South African Surf Lifesaving Champs!

FBSLC was present plenty in the SuperSport SA Surf Lifesaving Champs feature which premiered recently. The 26 minute clip offered highlights from the 3 day competition and gave a great witness to all the action that took place on the beach. Many scenes of FBSLC athletes in their respective finals were shown with special mention of Ryle de Morny who was interviewed after he retained his National beach double title.

Not only was it great exposure for the club and their performances, but especially for Surf Lifesaving as a sport. We were privileged enough to be part of an incredibly well hosted competition this year and we look forward to the progress in years to come!

SASCOC recognizes a superb performance from Ryle!

Following a stellar performance at Rescue 2014 where Ryle not only successfully defended his beach flags title, but also came away with the beach sprints title, SASCOC’s Mark Etheridge published an adulatory piece describing him as the stand out performer of the National Team.

It was some well deserved recognition for an incredible achievement of pulling of the virtually unheard of ‘Beach Double’! Check out the link to the article below:
